Jeffrey Szczepanski, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Szczepanski has the highest level board certification among all foot and ankle surgeons. Recently recertified, by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. You will feel comfortable in knowing that you will be getting the best foot and ankle care available anywhere in the state of Michigan.
He has many years of experience, originally from southeast Michigan where he practiced for many years and was on staff at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital and Providence Hospital. Dr. Szczepanski is recognized by his peers, being elected as the Chief of Foot and Ankle (Podiatry) Section at Munson Medical Center, in Traverse City, MI.
When he is not providing quality foot and ankle care, Dr. Szczepanski enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Walks on the beach, playing basketball, and summer boating in Grand Traverse Bay are among his favorite activities. In his early days, Dr. Szczepanski was the star basketball player at Utica Eisenhower High School and St Mary's and Spring Arbor colleges. He was awarded the Bill Bradley Scholastic All-American award in college.
Kevin Bryant, DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Bryant recently joined Great Lakes Foot and Ankle Specialists after practicing the last three years in Kentucky following the completion of his Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Residency at the Kentucky Podiatric Residency Program. He is thrilled to be in the Traverse City community and proud to work with Dr. Szczepanski. His special interests/techniques include ankle joint replacement, small joint replacement, diabetic limb salvage, trauma and fracture care.
Dr.'s Szczepanski and Bryant treat all foot and ankle problems such as: bunion and revisional bunion surgery, diabetic foot care and limb salvage, heel pain, ingrown toenails, Candida and Bleomycin treatment of warts, sports medicine therapy, sports injuries, surgical and non-surgical flatfoot treatment, fracture care of foot and ankle conditions - both surgical and non-surgical, and many more conditions.
Outside of the office, Dr Bryant enjoys his time with his wife and their two dogs. Bryant enjoys the outdoor activities that include running, biking, hiking, and anything with a campfire. Bryant has played bluegrass music from 6 years old and was in a band that toured Northern Ireland and many venues in the U.S. prior to his career in medicine.
